mad prose
dresses me in drag clothes
makes me ageless, sexless until timeless
as a drag off of a cigarette leaves me ragged, speechless, and tattered
knock knock as I bang at a door
knock know as I bang at a floor
smoke clears
my head hangs,
and it hangs low
Out in the cold
